President's Column
President's Column
It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the 2022 Information Theory Society President, surrounded by an outstanding set of BoG and leadership members. During the last two decades in ITSoc, I had the opportunity to meet and interact with so many creative and intellectually brilliant members of our Society, learned so much from our publications and conferences, and have seen the field evolve, expand and grow in so many ways. I am looking forward to learning even more, witnessing even more breakthroughs, and meeting an even more incredible new generation of ITSoc members in the next twenty years (and yes, I do hope to be still working at that time).
