Open Position: Director of Simula UiB

A postdoctoral position in areas related to coding and information theory is available at the University of Maryland. The position is in one of the following research areas: (1) Uniform distributions in coding, communication, and algorithms; (2) Storage codes on graphs and recoverable systems.

A post-doctoral position in the area of information-theoretic security and cryptography is available at Simula UiB, Bergen, Norway. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in algebraic coding and privacy-preserving technologies in general.

PhD Scholarship on Coding for Uncoordinated Multiple Access at Munich Aerospace / TU Munich (TUM) / German Aerospace Center (DLR)

Open PostDoc position. Will work in Prof. Médard’s Network Coding and Reliable Communications Group in the Research Laboratory for Electronics at MIT. Their research will be conducted in close collaboration with Prof. Rabia Yazicigil (Boston University), Prof. Ken Duffy (Maynooth University), and Prof. Anantha Chandrakasan (MIT).

Postdoctoral scholar opportunity at the University of Southern California (USC), in the new USC-Amazon Center on Secure and Trusted Machine Learning, focusing on Federated Learning under the supervision of Prof. Avestimehr. More specifically, we are looking for a candidate with a strong theoretical foundations in machine learning and information theory, while being motivated to apply the theory to practical datasets and problems.
