The School of Information Science at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) invites applications for an assistant professor (or senior lecturer, depending on experience) in the area of information theory and AI/machine learning. In addition to conducting research, responsibilities include graduate-level teaching, advising graduate students and seeking external research funding. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field by employment start date.Â
