Arizona State University (ASU) and The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) are looking for postdoctoral fellows to join a research project sponsored by the National Science Foundation on NextG Communication and Advanced Statistical Signal Processing. The postdoctoral fellows will be primarily advised by Prof. Taejoon Kim (ASU) and Prof. Remi Chou (UTA). They will also have the opportunity to interact with faculty members and industrial researchers from multiple institutions and companies participating in the collaborative project.
The candidates are expected to have a strong research background and publication record in one or more of the following areas:
- Information Theory
- Theoretical Foundation of Machine Learning
- Machine Learning Applied to Communication Systems
- Cryptography and Security
- Statistical Signal Processing and InferenceÂ
- Coding TheoryÂ
The positions are available as early as Spring 2026 (flexible start date) with a duration of one year and will be renewed for, at least, another year based on satisfactory progress.
