Particular interest is in candidates with a multidisciplinary research orientation broadly related to the area of convex optimization with applications to heterogeneous big data.
Higher priority will be given to the overall innovation, originality, and promise of the candidate's work than to specific sub-area of research. An earned Ph.D., the ability to pursue a research program, and a strong teaching commitment to both graduate and undergraduate levels are required.
