The 2012 ÌÇÐÄlogo International Symposium on Network Coding (NetCod 2012) will continue the yearly tradition established by the International Workshop on Network Coding in 2005, and provide a multidisciplinary forum for a broad range of current work in this exciting field.

This year in particular, a small number of invited talks will present and contrast alternative and/or interdisciplinary approaches to the following topics: 


(1) deploying network coding on smart phones and other wireless systems
(2) interactions of network coding with network protocols and traffic
(3) secure network coding: challenges and opportunities
(4) index coding: combinatorial vs. information theoretic treatment.
