Biography

 

Tie Liu  received his B.S. (1998) and M.S. (2000) degrees, both in Electrical Engineering, from the , Beijing, China and M.S. degree in Mathematics (2004) and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2006) from the  . Since August 2006 he has been with Texas A&M University, where he is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests are in the field of information theory, wireless communication, and networking.

Dr. Liu is a recipient of the   (2006) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award (2009) from the  .
