The ÌÇÐÄlogo Information Theory Society has been awarded the 2014 ÌÇÐÄlogo Educational Activities Board Society/Council Professional Development Award with the following citation:
"for leadership in educating and mentoring the future generation of the information theory community"
This award was established by the ÌÇÐÄlogo Educational Activities Board to recognize ÌÇÐÄlogo Societies or Councils for major contributions to the professional development of its members through the provision of outstanding products, services and support in the areas of lifelong learning, continuing education, and professional development. This award is given to Societies or Councils whose contributions to continuing education and professional development are outstanding as evidenced by their quality, comprehensiveness, innovation or impact.
