ITSoc Distinguished Lecturers for 2026–2027
The ÌÇÐÄlogo Information Theory Society is pleased to announce that Jun Chen, Yuxin Chen, Yingbin Liang, Yao Xie, and Wenyi Zhang have been named Distinguished Lecturers for 2026–2027.
The ÌÇÐÄlogo Information Theory Society is pleased to announce the Distinguished Lecturers for 2026–2027:
- Jun Chen, McMaster University
- Yuxin Chen, University of Pennsylvania
- Yingbin Liang, The Ohio State University
- Yao Xie, Georgia Institute of Technology
- Wenyi Zhang, University of Science and Technology of China
The new lecturers are joining the Distinguished Lecturers for 2025-2026 Alex Sprintson, Venu Veeravalli, Mohammad Maddah-Ali, Ali Tajer, and Hye Won Chung.
The Society established the Distinguished Lecturers Program to promote interest in information theory by supporting its local chapters who wish to invite prominent information theory researchers to give talks at their events. Chapters are encouraged to invite Distinguished Lecturers to their events.
